I may have outdone myself with this sauce. I really may have. Don’t roll your eyes at me. Try this sauce first. Or is it a dressing? Or is it a dip?! The opportunities are seemingly endless. Dairy and mayo free. Let’s do this.
What you’ll need:
•1 avocado, ripe and pitted
•Lemon juice from 1 lemon
•Minced garlic (use a bunch, trust me)
•Fresh cilantro (eyeball this)
•Chopped green onion, handful
•Water (start with a smaller amount)
•Salt
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed processor or blender and add water as you go to adjust consistency. The end!!!! The easiest, best spent 5 minutes of your life! I guarantee that all of the food in your household right now is like, “Yo, put some of that ish on me”.
This sauce is unbelievably creamy. My boyfriend didn’t believe there was no cream or mayo in there. I laughed. I cried. I ate it by the spoonful. The emotions that were extracted via this sauce were incredible, really. I used it as a salad dressing tonight, but tomorrow, it may be dip. Or a sauce for a bowl full of veggies… The possibilities await. I’m still drooling.
